About StashTik

Our story

StashTik started in 2024 with a simple frustration: every other "video downloader" we tried was buried in pop-ups, fake download buttons, watermarks, sketchy redirects, and sign-up walls just to save a clip a friend sent. We wanted something we'd trust our own parents to use. So we built it.

Today StashTik is a free web tool that helps people save public videos, photo slideshows and audio from TikTok and Pinterest, for offline viewing, archiving, or sharing with friends, within the limits of each creator's rights.

What we believe

We believe a downloader should do one thing and do it well: take a link, give you the file. No accounts. No queues. No "premium" gates on basic features. No bundled adware. Ads, when we show them, are clearly labeled and never disguised as download buttons.

We also believe creators come first. StashTik only fetches content that is already publicly accessible on its original platform, never bypasses private accounts, age gates or paid memberships, and respects takedown requests from rights holders.

How we make money

StashTik is free for users and supported by display advertising delivered through Google AdSense. Ads pay for our servers, bandwidth, and the small team maintaining the resolvers behind each platform. We do not sell user data, run paywalls, or charge a subscription. All product names, logos, trademarks and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.
