Save Pinterest pins as real files
Pinterest is one of the best places on the internet to collect references: interior design, recipes, fashion looks, tattoo inspiration, moodboards for client work. The catch is that Pinterest's own Save button only saves pins back to Pinterest. If you want the actual image or video file on your phone or computer, you need a different tool.

Three steps to a saved pin
Open the pin you want inside the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Tap the Share icon, then choose Copy link. Always copy from the pin itself, not from a board page or a search result, because those URLs sometimes resolve to the wrong pin.
Open stashtik.com/pinterest-downloader, tap inside the input, and paste the URL. StashTik validates the link, identifies whether the pin is an image or a video, and starts fetching the original file from Pinterest's CDN.
When the preview loads, tap the download button. Files save to Photos on iOS, Downloads on Android, and your default download location on desktop.
Full resolution, no compression pass
Pinterest keeps a high-resolution original behind every pin, but the version your feed renders is usually a smaller, optimised copy. StashTik fetches the high-resolution original directly, so the file you save is typically much larger and sharper than a screenshot.
Video pins save at the best quality Pinterest offers for that pin, with audio preserved. For pins that link out to a blog post or shop, StashTik uses Pinterest's stored copy of the media, not the external page.
Works on every device
iOS Safari, Android Chrome, Windows, macOS and Linux are all supported through your browser. There is no app to install, no extension, and no permissions beyond what the browser already has.

Responsible use
Saved pins are great for personal moodboards, offline reference, and projects where you have permission to use the imagery. Reposting other people's work without credit is not. When you share, credit the pin's original source and the creator behind it.
StashTik does not store the files you download. The pin URL is sent to Pinterest's CDN to fetch the original, and the file is streamed straight to your browser.
