How to Download Pinterest Images Using StashTik

Save any Pinterest image pin at its original full resolution.

Pinterest is one of the best places online to collect visual references: interior design, recipes, fashion, tattoos, moodboards for client work. But Pinterest's Save button only saves pins back to Pinterest. If you want the actual JPG or PNG on your phone or computer, StashTik gives you the original full-resolution file in one paste.

Step 1: Copy the pin link

Open the image pin inside the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Tap the Share icon (the arrow), then choose Copy link. Use the Share menu inside the pin itself, not the URL from a search-result page.

Use Copy link from the pin itself.

Step 2: Paste it into StashTik

Open stashtik.com/pinterest and paste the URL into the input. StashTik validates the link, sees that it's an image pin, and pulls the original file straight from Pinterest's CDN.

Paste and StashTik figures out the rest.

Step 3: Save the full-resolution image

The preview shows the pin thumbnail with a single Download button. StashTik gives you the original photo Pinterest stored — usually a JPG or PNG much larger than the version shown in your feed, ideal for moodboards, wallpapers or reprints.

  • Original full-resolution JPG or PNG, straight from Pinterest's CDN.
  • Works on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC with no app install.
  • Pins from private boards or protected accounts can't be fetched.
  • Please credit the original creator when you share the image.
