Why use a Pinterest image downloader
Pinterest's Save button only saves pins back into Pinterest. To get the actual JPG or PNG on your phone or computer, you need a downloader. Long-pressing an image in the app sometimes works, but the result is the small feed-optimised version, not the original behind the pin.

How to download a Pinterest image
Open the image pin you want inside the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Tap the Share icon, then choose Copy link. Always copy from the pin itself, not from a board page or a search result.
Open stashtik.com/download-pinterest-image in any browser. Tap the input field and paste the URL. StashTik validates the link, identifies the pin as an image, and starts fetching the original from Pinterest's CDN.
When the preview loads, tap Download Image. The file saves to Photos on iOS, Downloads on Android, and your default download location on desktop.
Works for any public image pin
Every public image pin on pinterest.com or pin.it is supported. That includes pins that link out to a blog, recipe, or shop. StashTik always uses Pinterest's stored copy of the image so the download is consistent and fast.
Private boards and protected accounts are out of scope. Idea Pins and multi-page pins are supported via the main Pinterest downloader page.
Tips for cleaner downloads
Always copy from the pin's Share menu, since URLs grabbed from a search result occasionally point to a different pin.
