What you will need
All you need is the share link of the Pinterest video pin you want to save and any modern browser. There is no app to install, no Pinterest account required, and no signup on our side.
Step 1 — Copy the pin link
Open the video pin inside the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Tap the Share icon (the arrow), then choose Copy link.
Always copy from the pin itself, not from a board page or a search result. Those URLs sometimes resolve to a different pin, which makes the download fail or save the wrong file.
Step 2 — Paste the link into StashTik
Open stashtik.com/pinterest-downloader in any browser. Tap inside the input and paste the URL. Long-press and choose Paste on mobile, or use Ctrl+V or Cmd+V on desktop.
StashTik validates the link, identifies the pin as a video or Idea Pin, and starts fetching the original file from Pinterest's CDN.
Step 3 — Tap Download MP4
When the preview loads, tap Download MP4 to save the full video. The file lands in Photos on iOS, Downloads on Android, or your default download location on desktop.
If you only need the sound, tap Download Audio Only instead. The audio comes out as a clean file you can use in any audio editor.
Troubleshooting common issues
If the preview does not load, check that the link came from the Share menu of the pin itself, and not from a board or search result. The URL should contain the pin ID.
Pins from private boards or protected Pinterest accounts cannot be downloaded. Only public pins on pinterest.com or pin.it are supported.
For image pins, use the Pinterest image downloader page. For boards that mix image and video pins, the combined Pinterest downloader handles both from the same input.
