What you will need
All you need is the share link of the TikTok video you want to save and any modern browser. There is no app to install, no signup, and no permissions beyond your browser. iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows, Mac and Linux are all supported.
Step 1 — Copy the TikTok link
Open the video on tiktok.com or inside the TikTok app. Tap the Share arrow on the right side of the clip, then choose Copy link. TikTok shows a small confirmation toast at the bottom of the screen, which means the URL is on your clipboard.
If you are on desktop, you can also grab the URL straight from the browser address bar. Both formats work the same way.
Step 2 — Paste the link into StashTik
Open stashtik.com/tiktok-downloader. Tap inside the input field and paste the URL. On mobile, long-press and choose Paste. On desktop, use Ctrl+V or Cmd+V.
StashTik validates the link the moment you paste it, identifies the post as a video, slideshow, or audio, and starts fetching the original file from TikTok.
Step 3 — Tap Download HD Video
When the preview loads, you will see the video thumbnail, the creator's username, and a green Download HD Video (No Watermark) button. Tap it.
The MP4 saves to Photos on iOS, the Downloads folder on Android, or your default download location on desktop. The file plays in any video player and has no StashTik branding added.
Troubleshooting common issues
If the preview does not load, check that the link is from tiktok.com and that the video is public. Private accounts and age-gated content are not supported.
If you only see a Copy link option in the TikTok share sheet (no Save video), the creator has disabled in-app downloads. StashTik can usually still grab the file from the Copy link URL.
If you want just the audio, use the TikTok audio downloader. For photo carousels, use the TikTok slideshow downloader. Both flows accept the same Copy link URL.
